The Cosmic Mate

MADFLOW draws inspiration from the iconic calabash gourd traditionally used for mate, while introducing an original silhouette made for modern everyday use.

ENGINEERED FOR YOUR EVERYDAY RITUAL

  • It holds 8 oz — the traditional Argentine mate size. Shorter than a coffee mug, with a wider mouth. A mate gets refilled 10-15 times from a thermos during one session, so it's sized for the yerba, not for all the water you'll drink.

  • Every MADFLOW set includes the cup, two stainless steel bombillas (the filtered straw), and a cleaning brush. Everything you need to start except the yerba mate itself, which is sold separately.

  • Premium food-grade stainless steel, double-wall vacuum insulated. No plastic touches your drink and nothing absorbs flavour. The vacuum wall keeps water hot through a full session while the outside stays cool to hold.

  • No. A natural gourd uring before its first use. This one doesn't. Rinse it once and your first mate is ready. Nothing to season, and nothing that can crack or mold if you store it damp.

  • Yes. Many cups sold as mate cups are stemless wine glasses or mugs with a new title. Ours is shaped like a mate: a wide mouth to build the yerba mound, and a taper that holds it on a slope so water doesn't flood the bed.
